Getting Facebook Fit

Actual Fitness, a successful independent personal training studio, wanted to grow its base of clientele ahead of the busy summer months. Given its personalised approach to fitness and its great location right in the Sydney CBD, owner Michael Yarnold was interested in reaching busy working professionals who often don’t prioritise their health and wellness.

While Actual Fitness had a Facebook presence, it had never used the platform to generate new business opportunities. I organised a 1:1 training session to discuss how Facebook can be used as a lead generation tool and to get the team up-to-speed on the latest features.

Next, I developed a Facebook Advertising Strategy to promote complimentary wellness and fitness sessions, targeted to professionals working in the area who were interested in improving their fitness level. The campaign resulted in highly-qualified leads with real health and wellness goals and enabled Actual Fitness to cut the cost of acquisition in half.
