Entering the social media scene

AusCann (ASX:AC8) is a leading supplier of medical cannabis products in Australia. It wanted to increase awareness of its activity and services but did not yet have any social media channels. After analysing the preferred target audience, I worked closely with the team to launch both its LinkedIn and Twitter channels.

The goal was to increase engagement with investors, partners and the Australian medical community. To do it, the strategy focused on highlighting AusCann’s strong medical research background and expertise in the medical cannabis field.

We developed a clear plan to ensure AusCann maintained a consistent social media presence. We also made sure it was participating in relevant online discussions, effectively interacting with investors, media and other stakeholders and organically growing its online communities.
